Welcome to STPPS!

Natalie Lepkowski, owner and instructor at St. Paul Pilates Studio

Hi, I am Natalie Lepkowski, the director of St Paul Pilates Studio.

Over the past 20 years, my diverse teaching experience has taught me that physical impact matters. There are good stressors and bad stressors in life, and I ultimately realized that exercise was starting to become a bad stressor for some of those around me, including myself.

Now I know better, and I want to share that information with all my students. Movement heals, and I’ve experienced it firsthand with Pilates-based movement. I’ve seen my students experience the same benefits, whether it be increased range of motion after surgery, proper abdominal function after a baby, or newfound strength after a rough period in life when personal health wasn’t a priority.

I know my fellow instructors at STTPS feel the same. Our team is here to offer you a safe space and guide you in moving toward your health and fitness goals.

“I haven’t missed a day of work since I started seeing Natalie and doing Pilates 5 years ago. She was like the user’s manual I never got with my human body.  She pushed me just the right amount and not too much. Pilates has a gracefulness to it that makes it easier to do than most other fitness classes I have taken.”  – G.H.

About Our Studio

STPPS has an open floor plan with about 1,400 square feet of space. With its high ceilings and large, square shape, the studio has plenty of room for various types of Pilates apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac, Tower, Ladder/Barrel, Chair and more).

The entryway has floor-to-ceiling windows that let in calming natural light. There’s a comfy sitting area as you walk in, and we invite you to sit back, take off your shoes, and enjoy a few minutes of personal time before or after a session or class. Cubbies are provided for storing your belongings. Water and towels are free of charge.

STPPS is located near Hidden Falls Park in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul. It’s not far from the old Ford plant site and about a half-mile south of the “Highland Village” shops. River Road and the Mighty Mississippi River are located just a few blocks west of the studio. River Road also has a bike and walking path for those who prefer to use alternate transportation. The studio is located on Cleveland Avenue, which is a city bus route.

STPPS is nestled in between two other women-owned businesses (Seven Spokes Bike Shop and Healing Motion Therapy). STPPS is a proud sponsor of the Seven Spokes Women’s Racing Team.
